Something comfortable and easy to move around in, e.g. t-shirt, shorts, jogging bottoms. Please refrain from wearing skirts or dresses. You don’t need any special footwear, as all our classes are bare foot. If you decide you want to continue training, you will be able to purchase uniform from our club shop.

Juniors £6, Adults £7. After school classes are paid for in term blocks, and are calculated pro-rata, according to how many weeks are in the term

After school classes are booked online, and you pay at the time of booking. The classes are £6 each, but you pay for the whole term, as you book your child’s spot in the class. Our returning customers are sent an invoice in advance of the next term, which must be paid to secure your child’s space, in advance of the term start date. Evening and weekend classes are drop in, pay-as-you-go. You can pay cash or card when you attend the class. Juniors £6, Adults £7

You will practice your grade syllabus in class with your instructor. We hold grading events periodically throughout the year. Students from all our classes gather to be graded together. Your instructor will tell you when you are ready for grading and give you information on how to register. You will need to register in advance of the grading day – price varies according to grade. Please note, an active membership is required to attend gradings. We may advise your child attends a pre-grade, to get in some last minute practice, and shake off any last minute nerves.

Yes, your membership is your insurance. After you have completed a 2 week trial, you will need to purchase a membership before you are able to book and attend any further classes. You will also need a membership to attend gradings. Memberships are £25 for juniors and £30 for adults. This covers both karate and kickboxing across the Coastline Martial Arts area

Yes, we offer all students a no-obligation 2-week trial to see if you like classes before you commit to purchasing a membership. These classes at £6 each. After school classes need to be booked in advance. Evening and weekend classes are drop in.

WIll there be any changes to the syllabus? • We will be slightly amending our syllabus. These changes will be communicated to students during classes. As always, we ensure we train our students to a high standard. Do I have to start from white belt? • You will continue at your current grade. For students currently on a Red, White & Blue striped belt – this is the SAMA Belt. We will be replacing it with a Brown & Black belt, at no cost – please email us to let us know you require a new belt, with proof of purchase of a Coastline Martial Arts membership (Or a SAMA South Coast membership - as this will automatically be carried over). What do I do with my SAMA Black belt? • For SAMA embroidered Black belts, we will replace this for you, at no cost – Please email us to let us know you require a new belt, with proof of purchase of a Coastline Martial Arts membership (Or a SAMA South Coast membership - as this will automatically be carried over). How do I get a Coastline Martial Arts Membership badge and book? • We will be issuing new membership books and club badges to all students upon purchase of a Coastline Martial Arts membership. (Your old membership book and badge are yours to do whatever you want with). Additional badges will be available to purchase from our club shop. • We will transfer your grades from your SAMA Membership book to your new Coastline Martial Arts membership book. Memberships • If you have already purchased a SAMA South Coast membership and no longer wish to continue training with us, please contact us with your name and your child's name, and we will refund you, no questions asked. • If you have purchased a SAMA South Coast membership and you do wish to continue training with us, you don’t need to do anything, we have simply changed the url of our booking system.
